Yawwwn, stretch...oh....hi there! I'm back with a report on some lovely mail that arrived on my doorstep last week.
So last month I signed-up for the Easter Basket Swap hosted by Paula and Alli.
My partner Jennifer put together this HUGE basket stuffed with all kinds of goodies for me...plastic eggs filled with jellybeans and chocolates, lots of Peeps and chocolate bunnies, and some really sweet handmade items, like this basket of fabric eggs:
Cute, no? They're adorning the top of my desk right now. Oh, and how 'bout these pretty napkins with the bunny napkin holders?
I'll be bringing these out a little closer to Easter. Oh, and I can't forget this cute little guy:
Handmade also...and this is my week to dust off the sewing machine (seriously!) and make some goodies for Jennifer's basket. I haven't been sewing much at all lately...it's been all about the knitting these days...but I'm anxious to dive into the bright fabrics that are waiting for me on the iron board.
Until now, I really didn't have any Spring/Easter decorations for the house; thanks to Jennifer, though, I'll be brightening my day(s) with all of the cute things from this beautiful Easter basket.
Now, though, I've gotta go and get sewing!
You've got a good jump on the Easter festivities! I just found another snowman decoration that needs to be put away 'til next winter. That's one very festive basket you received.

Paige, I have several emails thatI have written to sent back not deliverable, so I just wanted you to know I received you Easter Basket, and was just thrilled with the beautifyl Basket!! I think I will use it as a Large Purse, you know, the kind that has everything a Nana should carry!! Anyway I posted pictures on my blog!! www.jen-saia.blogspot.com for anyone to checkout!! And wow, you did a great job on the napkins!!! Just love them!! I ate all the candy while I was working on a project yesterday afternoon!! I can always use more magnets, and the Bunny statue is learning how to sew. I talk to him like he has signed up for a Tutorial class!! Such fun!
