I love seeing this glimpse of your home! (love globes too) I find it amusing that your baby gate is still up :) although with a puppy, it's probably necessary.

We have a baby gate too. It separates the dogs from the cats, specifically the cat's food and litter box. No one is eating cat snacks around here. LOL! We also have the playpen (aka playden) which is where the weiner dog did her rehab after surgery but she loves it so much she spends lots of time in there still. Containment is the name of the game.
