I'll be watching and encouraging my girl as she plays T-Ball for the very first time; yesterday evening was her first practice with "the team," and when she was up at bat and hit the ball, she promptly went after the ball (with bat still in hand) and returned it to her coach - what can I say, she's very efficient and thoughtful! teehee. I forsee a bit of practicing on our own this weekend...!
and supporting my sweet boy, who'll also be suiting-up for baseball next week. Life's gonna be downright "busy-with-a-capital-B" around Thompson Ranch, but I'm gonna try my hardest to just chillax and enjoy these evenings at the ballpark - the grass and sunshine and warm Spring air - while cheering for my mini-me's and their team(s). Happy weekend to you!
What a funny moment that must have been! I hope everyone laughed & handled her faux pas with good humor. Enjoy your days outside-- what a perfect excuse to do nothing but sit & knit!

I'm kind of envious of the knitting time you'll have, but I'm still holding out for another year of commitment free evenings. No one is complaining...yet. I don't think they are aware that they could be participating in all these fun things...does that make me bad?

What can I say....Have fun with T-Ball. Personally, I hated every minute of it when my kids played. My son used to sit in the outfield picking at the grass. At one point, he threw the bat into the woods and the game ground to a halt while everyone went searching for it. My daughter got hit in the head with a bat -- the game was stopped while she was transported to the ER. And we gave up on my youngest because he wouldn't run the bases. Nope -- I say better you than me. Seriously though....Enjoy.

Such cute pictures! I'm jealous you get to knit during practice. We just started up with soccer and I'll be spending the entire time keeping you-know-who off the field, sigh.....

Such cuties! It is that time of year isn't it - both of my boys are doing tball & baseball right now too. I love being outdoors, but wish it wasn't so busy.
