Quite a lot, actually....these days I'm finding myself completely tuckered at the end of the day and in bed around 10:30pm, sometimes earlier. Hubby's working long hours right now, so getting up at 6:15am is up to me, as is putting the kids to bed each night and everything inbetween - trying to find the inspiration to blog somewhere in the day has been challenging, as is turning on the computer to catch up with my favorite people. I could go on and on but I won't, except to say that while I've been typing this paragraph I've been interrupted no less than 10 times for laundry requests, help with a fort, a barking puppy, and a request to know what time it is, but really, what else is new?? Which leads me to wonder what's more important: my blog, or my daughter's fort? Could it be that they're each as important as the other? (Oh, and did I mention that I work 20 hours a week outside the home? Yup. Seventy hours a week between hubby and I.) How do you do it all? Do you do it all?? I guess I'm feeling overwhelmed, but hopeful that these feelings will subside, even more hopeful that it'll all come down to a mild case of pms. Ahem.
Oh man. I feel your pain. Blogging makes me happy but playing legos or zingo or reading or ... makes my kiddos happy (and me too) so it IS hard to balance. And - NO - I do not get it all done. I want to bake more, cook more, sew more, play more, not really clean more but need to! sigh.
I'd say most feel the same as you - somedays we can take it in stride and others we are bogged (or blogged) down.
Happy bday to your wee one ... not so wee anymore - 5. Wow.
Can't wait to see that doll. I've never heard of the show you shared. The music was so peaceful. I've got to check it out.
Here's to finding more hours in the day!

We freaking LOVE Totoro. It was the first movie Amelia ever sat through and then asked to watch again three more times. She's not much on sitting, but something about that movie...we all fell in love. Now I'm thinking about making Amelia a Totoro for her birthday next week. She's turning THREEE!!
Hang in there friend...I'm soooo with you on this time thing right now. It's not even worth the battle to get posts written sometimes.
I'm really loving your pale pink borders and your new header. It's very sweet.
Here's to you! And finding balance. Ching...

I would like to start each day with a viewing of Totoro, if I only could!

Balance is so hard to find.

I totally understand the question of time. It is a constant question about what is most important, and where I want my time to be spent, and how to balance everything.

I work 20 hours a week too. Funny, it doesn't seem like it should be that much but it feels like a lot. Of course, those two 30 minutes lunch breaks I get are a good time to catch up on my Bloglines!
I must say, your plant sale has way better options than our plant sale:-)
