It's one of my favorite rooms in the house, with windows all around and sunshine streaming in. Flossie loves it out here, too:
While we were relaxing out on the front porch the other day, the UPS man pulled-up with a big 'ol box for us filled with Arizona sunshine:
Every year my aunt fills a big box with cirtrus fruit from her trees and sends it off to us, which is such a treat during the long, long month of March. I think I'll spend some time juicing lemons today and freezing the juice in ice cube trays, which'll be great to have on hand for future cooking. (Also gotta juice some grapefruits for a little cocktail or two this weekend!)
Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Ta-ta for now....
I think I could kick up my feet on your porch too -- It looks like a wonderful spot. What a great profile shot of Flossie! She's so cute.
Enjoy the sunshine fruit this weekend!

Lucky, lucky you. I covet citrus and I think it's my most dreamed about fantasy...avocado, olive and citrus trees in my backyard. I guess I really *can't* have it all.
Happy day to you, friend! It's sunny here as well...such blessed joy.

I loved receiving a box of citrus from my grandparents when I was little. Now I'm looking forward to visiting Grammie and making my own orange juice from her tree.

Hi Flossie!
Our neighbor's mother sends her an enormous quantity of citrus in Jan/Feb and she shares it with us - lucky us!
I'm curious about your grapefruit cocktail - sounds interesting.
Enjoy the sunshine! xo

Isn't it nice to have the sidewalks cleared finally! We actually took the bikes around the block the other day!
