I'm still working on my Knitting Olympics sweater, so in the meantime I'd thought I'd share some finished objects that got finished before I became immersed in the Rooibos:
I crocheted a pillow cover with a granny square in the middle - used some random cotton yarns from the stash (still on my yarn diet - so far, so good). Here's one side:
Knit a hat for myself with more yarn from the stash (I'm not kidding when I say that it's extensive and deep and should totally keep me busy all year long).
Oh, and right before Christmas I managed to churn-out a quick hat for Charlie - blue for my blue-eyed boy, of course:
That pillow is awesome -- I love how you incorporated the granny. Grannys rule in my book! And your hats look great -- somehow wearing blue pulls out blue eye color even more. Very fitting. Have a great weekend.

I love that pillow! If I ever could figure out how to crochet granny squares would be my weakness--I know this!

That blue hatis really glowing, what a colour. My boy over here is soo not happy with the outcome of the hockey final. He was the only one in the family (sorry...)who was not hoping for a Canadian gold medal. Hope you could knit and watch - I couldn't as it turned out this morning. Unravelling is now required. But it was a great game!

Loving your pillow! I've been eyeballing some knit and crocheted pillow patterns and I like yours alot~
Cutest blue-eyed boy in his blue hat as well!
Thank goodness for our statshes. They save us in our yarn emergencies!

Love what you are doing with your yarn!
That's what a good stash can do for ya.

I might have to learn how to crochet, I'm starting to have granny square envy. I like Ripley too! It reminds me of Felicity, nothing like a nice slouchy hat.
