Hubby and I went out and saw this movie the other weekend:
It was sooo good; it's one of those films that I kept thinking about for days afterwards. All I gotta say is that if Mickey Rourke doesn't win the Oscar this year, I'm gonna cry....
So, you seen any good movies lately that deserve a shout-out??
I really wan to see that movie! Also Slumdog Millionaires. The most recent movie I watched (from Netflix) was Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantonamo Bay. Kinda historic now that Gitmo is no mo.

I just discovered my love of movies over the winter break. I saw The Reader and really enjoyed the movie...I want to read the book now.

I highly recommend Slumdog Millionaire. I also enjoyed Rachel Getting Married. You don't often get real characters in a movie nowadays but you sure do in RGM.
I want to see the Wrestler and Revolutionary Road and the Reader.

I heard the director interviewed by Terri Gross on NPR the other day and it made me want to see this. The preview made me cry, so I'm pretty sure the movie would be...well...moving.
We don't go the the theater. Ever. But the mail man keeps us in movies here at home. Recently we've been watching Arrested Development. Hi-La-Ri-Ous.

Hubbie and I have only been to the theater once in 10 yrs! He is not very fond of Hollywood ... Seems like I haven't seen a movie in ages - when we do get around to watching on TV we end up falling asleep! We are sooo lame - ha! Two of our favorties that we did make it through (several times ... must have been before kids) are Fight Club and The Village. A girlfriend of mine just went to see Grand Tornio and said we *must* go see it - like now. ;-D

I thought Milk was AMAZING! Great movie, great acting, great man, great story!
I want to see the Wrestler but it seems so intense that I can never choose it.
